Mids began life as a tiny violinist in his home village of Perth on the remote isle called Australia. However soon four strings just wasn't enough to keep Mids happy so he took up the guitar, adding six more strings to his repertoire. Not being one easily satisfied, Mids soon grew tired of the ten available strings he had to work with and began playing the bagpipes, adding a bag, four drones, a reed and a chanter to his steadily growing arsenal of sound machines.
Then, on his 18th birthday Mids spent an unforgettable night with a man... that's right, a man called John "Diggers" Digweed and his life changed for ever. On returning to the isle (only accessible by boat in those days) Mids started saving his nickels and dimes and bought a drum machine. Several synths, samplers and sequencers later Mids moved to London with nothing but the clothes on his back, a sampler and his trusty Mac and began making music for the European folk.
Now Mids lives happily in the big smoke and runs a night called Dim Sum with some other immigrants. With a smile on his face and his Mac under his arm, Mids looks to the horizon and dreams, dreams of the future.
