My latest acquisition is a Mesa Express 5:50 - what a great amp. Only just started experimenting with the tone posibilities, but the 2 channel 4 modes see to provide a wide variety of possibilities.
Bought an electronic drum kit a month or so ago as a bit of fun and for recording (fed up with drum machines). I opted for the Roland TD3KW - I'd highly recommend it for a first kit; the mesh snare makes all the difference.
