- Better known for his role of guitarist in London indie-popsters Brontosaurus Chorus twenty-something Matthew Curtis is a man on an epic musical mission. A project originally conceived whilst at University, Typewriter has been on the back burner after a series of false starts and misfortunes. After spending the last few months honing his skills Typewriter is back sounding bigger and more impossibly urgent than ever. Fusing searing guitars with überfast basslines matched by immense drums and coupled with massive synths Typwriter is a band that may wear its influences on its sleeve but at the same time sounds incredibly fresh and crucial at this time of musical drought. When not working with Brontosaurus Chorus Matthew can be found working on his debut studio album 'A Truly Beautiful Disaster' which is due to be completed in the summer of 2008.

- Brontosaurus Chorus are, in summary, a 7-piece indie popular beat combo. Half North, Half South, part-boy, part-girl; this monstrous tune cake creates it's sound in the depths of a secret London cave. With Jodie on vocals, Dom on bass, Matthew on guitar, Shalini on violin, Hilary on Cello, El on Trumpet, Sven on Drums and a lovely keyboard; they formed in the summer of 2006 and can currently be found playing numerous landmark gigs in London. The band takes their influence from the mighty herbivore roars of the Brontosaurus, the fancy bamboo piping of the playful panda and the amusing musings of the moon. Or maybe just Sonic Youth, The Cure, Belle & Sebastian, Joy Division, My Life Story, Le Tigre, Arcade Fire and Pulp amongst others. Merging bittersweet melodic summery girl/boy guitar pop with epic basslines and orchestral layers, Brontosaurus Chorus are as close as you can sonically get to an actual choir of made-up dinosaurs.
