- is a project in which I try to confuse myself as much as possible. I buy ok but not great guitars, strip them, up-grade the hardware & get established artists (although the weirder the better) to paint the bodies. I then reassemble, set them up & then don't know what to do with them. Is it now a guitar or a piece of art? Both, I think. But it's like saying a food item is both a dessert and an entree. Our association with reality hinges on our knowing from which angle to get to grips with things. In Play with Art this knowing is suspended. Cool. Plus they look fantastic.
