While some people are still struggling to find a reason to invest in Apple’s iPad, musicians already have plenty. Its range of synths, DAWs, grooveboxes, controllers and DJing apps is hugely impressive; in fact, our list of the best iPad music making apps contains some of the best iPad apps full stop.
This top ten chart is updated regularly and features what are, in MusicRadar’s view, the best iPad music making apps in the world today. Browse the thumbnails to find out what’s made the cut, then click through to the App Store to buy.
...add Cue.Play.Dj to that list...the new version (1.5) looks very promising indeed - a brave attempt at replacing Serato / Traktor within the iPad.
Would like to see NanoStudio,iVoxel ( very good vocoder app), Curtis, Sound Scope Space, M3000 HD (realistic mellotron) and MusicStudio in the list soon!
Nice. Thanks for getting Looptastic HD in there. There was a recent update that lets you sync the BPM on 2-iOS devices (iPhone/iPod touch/iPad) via Bluetooth for more remix tracks and processing. KInd of the "2 iDevices and a microphone" thing :^).
That Korg Electribe for just $20 ?? are you kidding? one of those hardware units were worth close to 700 USD years ago. That's insane! Thare are exciting times. Technology just keeps getting better and better. Imagine in 3 years time??
