If the all-in-one approach that Audiorealism has taken to emulating Roland’s classic TR drum machines doesn’t appeal, you should give d16 a call. It offers Nithonat, Nepheton and Drumazon, which produce 606, 808 and 909-style sounds respectively.
The blueprint for each plug-in is pretty similar: offer all the sounds and functionality of the original machine and then spice things up with some additional features.
