Reason 4's Thor synth is certainly a mighty fine instrument, but let's face it, not all of us know how to coax the best out of it. Don't fret, though, for Reason Electro V1 is a new patch collection from sound designer Christian Meyer.
The package contains 128 Thor-based patches, though each one actually comes as a Combinator patch, making it easy to tweak effects and the like. The collection is said to cover genres ranging from dirty electro to house.
Arp, bass, lead, synth pad and FX sounds are included, and we're assured that all have been programmed "with a lot of love".
You can download Reason Electro V1 now from the Meyer Musicmedia website - it costs €39. Obviously, you'll need Reason 4 if you want to use it.
