The Axeport's aluminium case should make it pretty durable.

CEntrance's AxePort Pro is the latest miniature USB audio interface to be targeted directly at guitar players. Featuring a tubular design, it has an aluminium chassis and offers 24-bit/96kHz performance.

As you'd expect, the AxePort has as 1/4-inch jack input so that you can easily plug in your guitar or bass. There's also a headphone preamp and separate input and output level knobs.

The interface ships with not just with CEntrance's ASIO/GSIF Universal Driver, but also a copy of Native Instruments' Guitar Combos amp simulation software. A belt clip, 3-foot guitar cable, 6-foot USB cable and velvet carrying pouch also come supplied.

AxePort Pro should be shipping now and is Mac and PC compatible. The price is still to be confirmed.

More details can be found on the CEntrance website.
