Death Cab for Cutie man releases Reason ReFill
Drummer's new rhythmic collection contains loops and hits

Jason McGerr - drummer with Washington-based EMO outfit Death Cab for Cutie - has created an artist ReFill for Propellerhead's Reason 4 software. This features a wealth of drum content that's suitable for use in a wide range of musical styles.
Top of the bill is the collection of REX loops: over 900 are included. Covering everything from pop to hip-hop and glitch, there are grooves, fills, lead-ins and endings.
In excess of 2000 individual drum samples are featured too - these are lifted directly from the recordings of the loops - while drum kits are supplied with three different ambient mic configurations.
The new ReFill calls on many of Reason 4's devices. It contains 38 ReDrum patches, 12 effects patches, 38 NN-XT patches and more than 25 Combinator patches. There are also 40 MIDI files that can be used with all the included drum kits.
Jason McGerr Sessions ReFill costs $49/€49. It's available exclusively as a download and can be purchased from the PropShop on the Propellerhead Software website.
