Sax man joins Rivers and co for 'Daddy'

Weezer and Kenny G together on the same stage makes us certain of one thing: the apocalypse is indeed upon us.
'Tis true. The king of easy-listening sax schmaltz joined Rivers Cuomo and co during a taping of AOL Sessions for an otherwise toe-tapping rendition of I'm Your Daddy, one of the tracks off the band's zippy new album, Raditude.
As it turns out, Cuomo and G - is that what we call him? - are Malibu neighbors, so apparently, while borrowing a cup of sugar, Cuomo must've invited the poodle-haired non-rocker to rock out with the Weez. Or something like that. Who knows how these things happen? And who can really explain this one?
We sure can't.
Check out the video below and behold. Then pick your mouth up off the floor. Weezer, we still love you, but for the love of God, please, never again!
Yeah Musicradar, you've revealed yourselves as pedantic, petit-bourgeois received pronunciation, politically correct middle-class Englishmen :-P
The 'musically correct' have put a ban on Kenny G. Weezer say f*ck that and are right to do so. They don't care what others, incl Musicradar think. Which was once, long ago, the true spirit of rock&roll.
What's the problem? Kenny's own records may make me cringe, but don't forget that he is a better player than most people, and and what he does here is cool; it could easily be mistaken for Jan Garbarek, and no one would say a wrong word if he was the one playing here
True, true...But that still doesn't make it right. I mean, Kenny G...what were they thinking?
I suppose when you're an alt/punk/indie band, it's very hard not to furrow the same ground of disonant guitar breaks. Also when Marilyn Manson etc all have taken shock to the Nth degree preforming sexual acts on livestock yada yada, perhaps the only way to shock people is go in the other direction.
Plus, it is a very catchy tune.
