Drummer's 45th birthday celebrated on stage

Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich celebrates his 45th birthday tomorrow, 26 December. But that didn't stop his band and their road crew from starting the festivities early.
Six days early, at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California, Ulrich got pie-eyed, so to speak. During the group's last song, Seek & Destroy, the drummer, who must have suspected something was coming, got pelted with pies and covered in Silly String by his gleeful fellow band members and roadies.
