Fancy jamming with our guitar magazines?

Next week is Magazine Week and, to celebrate, MusicRadar is teaming up with sister magazines Guitarist, Total Guitar and Guitar Techniques for a little jamming session. The good news: you're all invited…

We'll be celebrating all things guitar-based at Borders bookshop at London's Charing Cross on Thursday 2 October. Professional tutors Jonny Scaramanga and Jason Sidwell will be on hand to help develop your existing skills or, if you've never played before : A) you should have, and B) they can teach you in just 10 minutes. Seriously.

On the gear front, Gibson and Epiphone will be supplying the guitars and amps for the day.

Along with MusicRadar's guitar contingent, the magazine editors will also be making an appearance. Guitar Techniques' Neville Marten had this to say: "We hope to give musicians' a real flavour of our magazines. There's a lot to be said about musicians getting together to practice and readers love meeting our experts."

You can watch Neville demonstrating how to play acoustic guitar like Paul McCartney or how to sound like Eric Clapton for a taste of what to expect.

The PPA Magazine Week runs from 29 September - 5 October. Our get-together on 2 October will start at 12noon - 7pm. See you there, don't forget your rock chops…
