The Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM Brighton) and the Bristol Institute Of Modern Music (BIMM Bristol) have confirmed dates for their Summer Schools for 2009.

BIMM Brighton and BIMM Bristol will host a Total Guitar Summer School (presented by TG Editor Steve Lawson), while BIMM Brighton will host a Metal Hammer Summer School. Lessons run from 3-20 August 2009.

Sponsors for 2009 include Vans, Orange Amps, Laney Amps, Mapex Drums, Atticus clothing and Lowlife clothing. Free Orange and Laney guitar stacks are up for grabs for the best guitar players. Mapex are offering a brand new set of hardware.

Tutors include musicians who have worked with Noel Gallagher, Moby, Jamiroquai, Testament, Snow Patrol, Sikth, Therapy and many more.

Editors from MusicRadar's sister print-titles Total Guitar, Guitarist and Rhythm will be in attendance.
