NAMM 2012: Mapex's hugely successful Black Panther line is growing, and now we have the Black Panther Retrosonic kit, which made its debut this year.

We got a rundown of the set's particulars from Mapex's Steve Jenkins, and after which we were treated to a live demonstration by the extraordinary talented Glen Sobel, who plays for the Alice Cooper band. Sobel admitted he had never played the Retrosonic before, but a quick jam on the kit left him suitably impressed - knocked out, in fact.
