New Zealand based Goldbaby Productions have released a new drum sample library: Tape909. The collection contains 1,446 24-bit samples taken from a mint condition 909 using an Ampex 351 ½" valve, 2-track tape machine.
Tape909 was recorded naked into a Metric Halo ULN-2 firewire audio card through a selection of vintage gear. From this, the best samples were chosen and if you can't get hold of a real 909, this is a close substitution.
