Malmsteen is currently working on a new album, tentatively due in July. His new band includes Tim 'Ripper' Owens (Beyond Fear, ex-Judas Priest, Iced Earth) on vocals, Bjorn Englen on bass, Michael Troy on keyboards, and Patrik Johansson on drums.
