Machine Head will follow-up their triumphant appearance at this year's Download festival by replacing Bullet For My Valentine as one of the opening acts for Metallica's show at Wembley Stadium in London on 8th July. Also scheduled to appear are H.I.M and Mastodon.

Bullet For My Valentine cancelled their appearance and several other European dates in order to allow frontman and guitarist Matt Tuck to undergo tonsillectomy (a surgical procedure in which the tonsils are removed).
