Indie comeback # 345: Swervedriver reform, touring in 2008

Missing those halycon days of the nineties when the indie disco reigned supreme? Well allow a little nostalgia to seep through your blinds on this dark winter day because Oxford's Swervedriver have reformed.

Pitchfork reports that the four-piece (who released their last album in 1998) are planning live shows for next year. Further details are sketchy right now but what else do you expect from the world of hard-edged shoegazing where vagueness is a way of life?
