We hear that former Guitarist editor and latter-day acoustic soloist David Mead is returning to the studio shortly to record the follow-up to his CD Nocturnal.

Armed with a custom-made Fylde Falstaff guitar and the working title Arboretum, David’s album is due for release on The Guitar Label in early 2010.
