  Small little book but with some good idea's.
  Now, I don't see myself creating a songwirter's lodge as indicated in this book but there are for me other interesting idea's: like the 20 song game. There's an important lesson to all of us: let's get rid of the idea that each song you create must be the perfect song. Just write a damn song, doesn't matter what, which style, but write a complete song, and then another one and then another one... With each song, you will see that you become better and better and take yourself to a higher level. Songwriting is not an art, is a craft and a craft can be tought, it's that simpel. There is a lot of motivation in the book but the most important for me are the idea's when you're stuck. Don't expect technical stuff (melody, harmony,...)but rather motivational stuff, tips and idea's. Now stop reading and go out to create your 20 songs today, I bet you will be hooked.
