Sound and playability are the two most important components in an instrument. But very few will deny that a standout visual aspect enhances your performance. The appearance and sound of the unique Exotic Wood Series were designed for the player who is looking for a completely new and different voice. You won't find anything else quite like the EW guitars . even among guitars that are much more expensive.
In 2007, the EW family expands once more with new sonic and visual colors. In addition to the existing quilted ash top and cordia top models, the EW20E will also be available with a zebrawood top.
The new junior member of Exotic Wood family, the EWC, features a body that's smaller and shallower than the original EW's. Two models are available: the EWC30ASE with a quilted ash top and the EWC30PDE with a padauk top finished in resonant low gloss.

I have owned one for about 18 months.
It's beautifully made - perhaps over pretty for some but certainly a looker. It is also very playable.
The sound is ok un-amplified, but plugged in generates a terrific full and warm sound with the B-band transducers giving few of the traditional piezo problems.
For the money it is an absolute bargain.
I own one and such a good sound for this price (€350) together with the good looks really surprised me and my friends. The style over content bells were ringing yes, but not for long. At some places the finish could have been better and filing and sanding traces annoy me a little. The sound is heavy enough I think. One should not expect to fill a stadium with it, but when you have to, you're probably a superstar with enough money to buy whatever great guitar you like. Anyway I love this one.
