Better made than a Les Paul and while lacking the LP's Classic Status, the Yammie SG handles clean guitar parts much better than the gibbo. This is the most modernistic of takes on the Les Paul
Used you can get a tidy one for around £500-600, although as they were popular with a lot of punk/post-punk musicians expect too see quite a few battered examples on ebay.
