This is a thoroughly decent, well-appointed kit. Good value for money.
Lack of adventurous shellpack options.
While being the product of a Chinese factory, this latest incarnation of Sonor's 3-series kit is built to the standard that you would expect from Sonor. The clever combination of maple in the shells is an attempt to improve quality while remaining within a budget. The drums certainly sound good - our criticisms of the snare could apply only to that individual drum - and the lacquer finish is spot-on.
