The Accent CS Custom Elite drums are made with 100% birch shells to provide professional sound quality. It also features Vibra-bands and Remo heads, and the snare is fitted with 10 lugs for easy tuning and the famous Ludwig sound. Hardware includes some unexpected details, like a chain drive bass pedal with rockplate and easy hoop attachment for added sturdy quality.

The bottom line

It's perversely pleasing that Ludwig have come up trumps by getting their budget kits made in China. After gigging with it for two nights running, we would happily do so again - It was bright, ballsy and looked sharp and the class finish gives it the vibe of something much pricier. In fact, forget the budget tag, it's simply a cool kit.
