The No.1 website for musicians

Having tried some less-than-spectacular ROMplers in our time, we were afraid that The Elements would fail to light our fire too, but this 13.5GB collection of patches isn't too shabby at all. The best bits are the more atmospheric patches, including spooky soundscapes that are perfect for soundtrack work. On the downside, there are some rather pedestrian patches on offer too, and the bass sounds in particular are unexceptional. The Elements is pretty expensive, so if you're after a 'go to' ROMpler, this isn't it. Those looking for more ethereal fare, though, might find solace here.
