Melodyne 3 isn't attractive, and has a very steep leaning curve, but it's an impressive and unique bit of software.

Like nothing else
Melodyne 3 is impressive and unique. There’s no MIDI sequencing or automated mixing, but these features are not required since Melodyne works best when bridged or ReWired to a full-on sequencer.
The real problem with the software is its public image – it isn’t graphically attractive, and you won’t be able to understand it without investing hours of learning time..
Verdict
A unique but less than perfect app that can do some truly amazing things. You may prefer to check out the plug-in version, though.

Edits pitch, time and tone effortlessly. Generates convincing musical harmonies. Processes polyphonic chord parts. Stripped-down versions available. Half price for students!
Cons
Not a MIDI sequencer. No mixer automation. VSTi compatibility issues.
