I have this guy driving a Vox 4x12 - mismatched looks be damned. A quarter of a watt still gets loud in a recording environment, and there's nothing wrong with rolling back the tone pot on your guitar. If you've only ever been able to afford solid state amps before, there's no excuse for not venturing into the realm of tube amps now. Highly recommended.
