With the addition of Valve-DynamicTM power, the new G3 series amps are a serious contender in the pro market. Equipped with a tube driven MOSFET power amp, purist’s will fine the new G3 tone surprisingly percussive, lush, and full, where the traditional hard core metal fan will be deep in tight punishing low end and razor sharp mids and highs. With models ranging from 75W to 300 watts in power, the G3’s have plenty of power for larger clubs. Built-in, 24-bit digital effects are also available on several new G3 models. for the price i got this amp, its f****in mental, when cranked up nice and loud, both rhythm and leads sound insane and because of the power amp, you'll be surprised by how low you can set the gain and still have such a skull crashing tone.
also sounds pretty amazing recorded, however it does have the problem of being too woofy, especially for palm muting and it can be very noisy even at low gain (set halfway), nothing that equalisation behind the mixing desk and a noise gate cant fix
