These two AVTs boast more channels and features than any Valvestate amplifier before. Their four channels are: Acoustic Simulator, Clean, Overdrive 1 and Overdrive 2. The Clean, Overdrive 1 and Overdrive 2 channels are identical in terms of voicing and features to those found on the AVT100X. As its name suggests, the Acoustic Simulator channel transforms the sound of a standard electric guitar into that of an acoustic guitar with amazing authenticity. Referring to a Guitarist magazine review: ‘The Acoustic Simulator is a brilliant idea – a first for a non-digital amp – and the tonal effect is

extremely convincing with single coil pickups, allowing a guitarist to switch instantly from electric to acoustic sounds without changing guitars or amps.’ For even further flexibility, the AVT150X and AVT150HX house a pair of adjustable DFX Sections – one for the Acoustic/Clean channels and the other for Overdrive 1/Overdrive 2. Both DFX Sections are on/off footswitchable via the supplied 6-way LED footcontroller.
