YOUR QUESTIONS: For Joe Bonamassa
Joe Bonamassa is an amicable guy: always willing to talk us through his live rig, show us how to nail a solo or make better use of the fretboard. He's Mr Nice. And, he just so happens to be one of the greatest blues guitarists of his generation…
Joe started early, opening for BB King when he was 12-years-old. Don't believe it? Check out the boy-wonder jamming with Danny Gatton in 1989. He went on to release several acclaimed solo albums including 2007's Sloe Gin.
Along with Foreigner's Mick Jones, Alex Lifeson, Steve Jones, Lee Ritenour and Johnny Winter, Bonamassa was recently honoured with one of Gibson's 'Inspired By' signature guitars. It's a Custom Shop Aged Les Paul Goldtop, which, as Gibson puts it: "is a tribute to this extraordinary guitar virtuoso and his ever-growing legend."
