Default Jools Holland last night

Had some fella called Erik Mongrain playing percussive acoustic kinda thing, was pretty cool.

Also Norah Jones looking very fit.

Oh. I just started a thread on Erik. Balls, I should have paid more attention.

Advice for councils: Make your local swimming pool as much fun as a trip to the beach. Stir in a bucket of sand, a bag of salt and a few old Volvos and dog turds and Bob's yer uncle.

My gear:

Dean Baby ML, Ibanez RG, Vintage V100, PRS SE Soapbar, Jim Harley acoustic, Line 6 Spider III 15, Daphon Wah pedal (this pedal is also known as the Shitbox 3000)

I thought his style was very interesting.
I had no idea Norah Jones was so easy on the eye, either!

Was excellent that Eric Mongrain, but I dont know how long I could listen to that on its own. Amazingly talented but I couldnt put a night in with it.

Erik is a superb composer, the 'Airtap' thing he feels obliged to do on these occasions is not representative of most of what he does. It is a lovely sound, and looks amazing, but it's not melodically or harmonically very interesting at all, and most of his stuff very much is.

Listen to Sting's new CD ... it's got to be a joke. He's no folk singer.

Sting where is thy death ...

I thought Norah Jones keys souded really sweet running through thet Keeley Modded Ibanez AD-9 delay (sad I spotted that !!) Foos were great...

...but this lady was the star for me, Jay-Zs singer Bridget Kelly, quite easy on the eye
