Default Anything I need to look for in an internal harddrive in particular?

I'm looking to buy an internal harddrive to put all my virtual instruments on. Is there anything specific I should look out for apart from the obvious (size). MBps and Rpm? Sorry I'm no computer genius!

Dave

From a performance standpoint, all same-generation HDDs perform virtually the same.

You might want to check noise level and warranty, though.

7,200 rpm, the bigger the better, quiet and reliable. I swear by western digital - used to use seagate but had several pack up in close succession after only 2 years. Not quit had the WD's for that long, but so far so good, and have had lots of recommendations. The Caviar Black range is what i'd go for if i we're buying now...
