I thought Alice In Chains were awful last night, I had to change the channel in the end... Foo's were definitely a bit thin sounding last week... did anyone see Devendra Banhart a few weeks ago, I thought he was excellent

Yeh I saw Devandra, amazing. I love his music so much, saw him live at Glastonbury quite a few years ago now, he was great then too, real stage presence.

Jerry Cantrell looked about 60 on that show! Strange, since he looked well on the recent Guitar World cover. I guess it just shows you the power of Photoshop.

Nevertheless, he's one of my fave guitarists and I love AIC.

The show has had some great acts recently, best act i remember (some time ago i know) were ZZtop, they were awesome and my god LOUD!.

Just a shame we have to put up with Jules and his ignorant self absorbed detritus.

I thought Steve Martins Band were great but his own playing felt stilted and not quite there (whatever that means). Having said that, I can't play banjo at all and can't do fingerstyle on the guitar.
Could he have been nervous in front of the camera? His inteview was entertaining as ever.
