Question Wiimote as midi controller?

Hi all, I've managed to link up my Wiimote with my Pc using Bluetooth, I've tried various pieces of free software to play Wii drums, but find most of them w**k at the moment, either buggy or don't work, for example Wiinstrument crashes, Glovepie not sure how that works. Isn't there a decent piece of software that allows you to play Wii drums on Cubase or whatever works?

cheers

mark.

I was about to refer you to OSCulator but that appears mac only. In search of an alternative it seems you have already found it: glovepie.

Anyway, I'm not too familiar with applications on windows these days. However, the Wii doesn't send out MIDI devices (as I'm sure you know) so you'll need an app to interpret these. This is what GlovePIE and OSCulator do. So, what you need to do is route the MIDI out from GlovePIE into your sequencer. I imagine this will be something that is already setup in glovepie and so you probably just need to go into Cubase and get it to accept MIDI in from glovepie.

As I say, I'm not 100% certain with the above solution as I don't run cubase or windows, but this is my best guess .
