The 2 songs so far are great, but it's Scumbag Blues that I'm busting to hear!
I'm avoiding the live footage on YouTube in case it taints my opinion of the songs.

Can't bloody wait!

I can't wait for this album! I've heard the teasers and one full track (New Fang) and apart from one song which you would call ''experimental rock/dance fusion'' it's all awesome. Nov 17th can't come soon enough!

Agree with you here on every point. I watched a little bit of the bootleg footage months ago but I've avoided it since as I want the songs to have the full impact the first time I hear them in proper quality.

Anyone else really not that impressed with the album?

I love all three of the guys bands but this sounds like a side project and sounds like not a lot of thought has gone into it. Its a bad QOTSA album.

Im gutted as i thought i was going to love it.

Surely not as bad as the last 2 QOTSA albums? They sounded like bad desert sessions.

I prefer the last two QOTSA albums to this.

I so wanted to love this album but its IMHO just not very good. Although it is great to hear DG drum again, he has a distinctive sound.

I rather like it - pretty obvious that it's Homme on songwriting and most likely most of the production but it's cool.... just different enough to not be QOTSA.

Absolutely loving scumbag blues and gunman though

Just checked it out, pretty meh to be honest. Evidently Nick Olvieri and Scott Reeder were the riffmasters.

This crap sounds like they should be called The Crooked Vultures.
