Default Things to do in Ostende?

While we're on a Euro city break tip - has anyone been to Ostende and can they recommend anything at all to do / see / buy / drink?

I've blindly signed up for a work day out type thing in December and have no idea what I'm going to do when I get there

Act like Colin Farrel did when he was in Bruge and punch an American.

Things to do? Ostende?
A ridiculous question.
My suggestion? Leave.

Well there will be a small amount of actual work involved so it won't be a total loss.

I wonder if Belgian women shave their pits...
