Being that I live in a fantasy world where all I think about is nothing else than beer, eating and amplifiers. I was wondering, if I made a handwired amp like this one,

Which would be very nice, how easy would it be to alter the preamp circuit to allow for an adjustable preamp gain control tp be fitted? Or in an extreme case a Soldano Slo preamp circuit to be retro fittted at a later date. Sorry, but I do have to ask as I like to know. Like I said I do live in a fantasy world of my own! Heh! Heh! Heh!
