In a so far fruitless search for "my" sound, I've been experimenting with a Marshall Mode Four Head. Unfortunately, it's not for me so I'm attempting to move it on.

You probably know the score with the Mode Four already but it's essentially two amps in one, with each amp having two channels. Independant pre-amp valve, EQ and reverb on each amp and it's very loud indeed - 350 watts. Solo boost, tuner mute and FX loop are also featured. It's incredibly versatile with massive clean headroom but also has huge amounts of gain on tap too.
Cosmetically, it's not perfect but it's perfectly acceptable as you can see from the photo. Comes with original Marshall footswitch.

I am based near Southampton and obviously would prefer collection but I'm open to other suggestions.......

Due to extreme idiocy from an Ebay buyer, the Mode Four is available again.
