Hey guys,
I was watching the Nathan Fake masterclass on this months DVD and was wondering is it possible to record from Cubase (LE4) into Audacity in the same manner that Fake records into Cool Edit? I'm only getting to grips with Cubase, and really like Nathan's method of mixing down his MIDI parts in realtime. The Cubase method is just so cumbersome. I've been playing around with some options in Audacity, but can't seem to get it to record from the soundcard (I'm using NI Audio Kontrol 1) Any tips? |

Audacity:
FAQ - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/faq Manual - http://audacity.sourceforge.net/help/documentation Tutorials - http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Tutorials Tips - http://wiki.audacityteam.org/index.php?title=Tips Other things: Virtual audio cable - http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.html#download " " " " " " - http://www.harmony-central.com/Softw...dio-cable.html One other thing is: Mixdown (File / export audi) your track (or mix) in Cubase and import it to Audacity! Should be easy, I think. But honestly: Cubase is a great app and you should spend some time to get into it. It will pay off great later on. |
