Your mission is to write a short story to be judged by your peers.

Roughly 2000 words, no novels and no 'Look at me I'm ever so clever' 1 sentence jobbies.
The title must be: Wasted Arithmetic

All pieces must be posted in this thread by 16th of August. Don't feel obliged to post them before then if you're worried about people nicking your ideas though!

Not only is 1000 not enough... having a Maximum of 1000 yet saying +/- 10% doesn't work!

The milk was dripping of the edge of the recently fitted granite top. Next to the dripping milk, Judy's firm bare ass pressed against the cold surface. Weetabix strewn across the floor as punch put his boots on and waded in. What a messy breakfast they had that morning. The end.
