Default Show me your strange looking guitars..

http://cs-001.123.is/bffaf519-223f-4...0d38bf000b.jpg

I bought this guitar for about the equivalent of 50 pounds, it had a broken nut and the neck was banana shaped but thats all been taken care of now.

I think this is a Japanese Teisco but im not sure, the pickups have "Beauton" engraved on the covers, this isnt the best photo i know but notice the strangely shaped scratchplate with its silverflake/glitter finish, also the pickups covers are, um, whats the english word for it? reflectors? The plastic thingies you hang on children so they can be seen by drivers when its dark outside..

I have a couple that might be considered strange.
First up is an unidentified Kawai which I think is from the sixties. The pups are microphonic and the neck feels like a lump of 4x2, but it sounds great!

And this is my Yamaha SGV800 which I got for £155. Sparkly!

Although this isn't my one, I own one the very same. A Gretsch TK300. I got it from my dad who'd bought it about 12 years ago, it was gathering dust so he gifted it to me.

I thought I'd seen pretty much every bizarre guitar, but I've never come across that Gretsch before.
That's a Gretsch?
Blimey.
I suppose every factory has offcuts that are going to waste!

Yeah, and they sell most of those to Billy Gibbons.

This one I found sticking out of a rubbish bin. The pickups work and I use it for slide

Had to replace the tuners but hey, it's still alive.
