Default Does this guitar actually exist?.....

Fender Strat, hardtail bridge with reversed 70's headstock.

If not, why not. Because I want one.

You could search out a used Billy Corgan or Robert Cray Strat (Hardtails) and a Fender Reverse Strat (BIg CBS type Reverse headstock). All three are Mexican made so the neck pockets are probably all the same size (ish). Build your desired Frankesnstein and either build the 'other' guitar back up and sell that. Or it may actually prove more profitable to sell them on as parts.

Bit convoluted but it would work.

Dont know if that guitar exists as an official production model but you could certainly source all those parts even from Fender. So making one - one way or another is very possible.

Bottom line- It takes motor skills and practice to develop fast clean playing but a brain to use it wisely and rock guitarists are still recovering from the 80's.

Yeah, I'd though about building it myself but I'm rubbish when it comes to accuracy and I'm sure I'd end up bodging it.

I quite like the Billy Corgan Strat although I always thought that Smashing Pumpkins were shite tbh, so changing the neck would also mean ridding myself of the sig - bonus!

Okay, my mistake, sorry.

But in that instance it means that you could probably buy a Corgan Strat, have the neck off it and as you'd be selling it on as a 'Real USA Fender Strat' neck. You'd probably find that you could easily sell it on for enough money to cover the cost of getting Warmoth or USACG to build you a reverse neck to your exact specs !

Happy days, and as you say you've managed to eradicate the signature of that whining git from the Strat.

You'd be hard pressed to mess up a neck swap, I'd think.
