Default Low wattage heads...

Since the intro of the TT there have been a lot of entries into this market. Ok so low watts doesnt necessarily mean low £'s but :

Doesnt that kinda defeat the object?? 50 watter and a hotplate and youd still have change.

Hell I can get a dual rec and a hotplate for that....

hardly a decent comparison............... Surely the 'object' is sound / tone quality......I know where my ££ would go................meowww

Hand made in USA = Expensive.

Like the Dr Z amps, they're also hand made in USA.

matamp should be on that list....

i got a little rock from them a while back. It's a £300 valve amp made in the UK. unfortunately they really couldn't keep doing them at that price so they stopped. they didnt offer the usual custom options on it to keep price down - well expect on mine which happens to be red and white

Of course, they don't have to be shipped, don't have import tax, exchange rate etc...
