Default fri 8th BBC4 - peter green story

the best tv station in the uk is showing what appears to be the full version of the peter green story tomorrow night (fri 8th)around 9ish - well worth a watch

Sounds too depressing to watch. A 5 year burst of talent followed by decades of drug induced maddness. I really like a lot of his playing, but the story is just so sad. What a waste

hes playing again and ironically better than he has done in the last 20 years too. Just got back from a successful trip to denmark (i think) - there are vids on you tube

I thought it was a great programme. Peter Green was far more lucid than I expected, he seemed pretty well and that's a good thing. Amazing that it appears it was his medication (ie official drugs!) making him into a zombie!!!!

Yes, great stuff. Peter Green was the finest blues guitarist ever produced by Britain. Nobody comes close and Gary Moore's sad efforts at emulating him are a travesty.
