Dude just bang the CD on and get your ears trained!!!
Best way to learn tunes! And Green Day are the perfect band to start with as they arent over complicated!

a book with three chords in it isnt going to be worth £10 if you ask me.

but yeah do yourself a favour and just learn from the cd. download 'the amazing slow downer' (its free) and figure it out yourself. most tab books are riddled with errors anyway in my experience.

I take it that if you were confident with learning it from the cd you would have already done so. There are plenty of free ones on tinternet which I know are more often than not wrong but should give you an idea if you compare a few. should at least make it easier if you do decide to learn from listening.

that fourth chord is a killer. I hear it requires more than two strings too.

Thanks for not having the book everyone...

Ill give it a go - I guess we all get a little lazy with so much info about and so little time, as it happens I have worked out a lot of when september ends but there are a few bits that are stumping me.

Personally I try and stay away from UG - although in the past I have used the tabs to work out the correct versions of some songs - Ive never fonud a totally correct song on there yet...
