Yamaha Pacificas...

Theres one I've got my eye on on eBay, thinking of bidding on it, but I wondered, does anyone bother making fake Pacificas on account of they're so cheap already?

Also... I'm sure this has been asked a billion times but... Are they really that good?

Also, were the ones made a few years ago (the one i'm watching was 'bought second hand a few years back') as good as the new ones?

The Pacifica range are excellent in every respect. As for the newer versions, I can only speak about the 112 range and the latest ones are better by dint of upgraded hardware (e.g. alnico pups) I had one of the old ones and with a bit of upgrading it would have been as good IMHO, but what's the point now when the cost of a new one is around the same as the previous version anyway ?.
