Default Heres a probably stupid question..

Ok, i have an old Gibson Minuteman combo amplifier that has been severely modified for me, it sounds absolutely fantastic from clean to just a little bit dirty but it doesnt do full-on rock distortion.

And i was thinking, if i were to buy an orange Tiny Terror head would it be possible to run that as an overdrive channel to the loudspeaker on the minuteman?

Initially i was just thinking of connecting the tiny terror to the minutemans speaker for recording purposes but too much caffeine intake got me thinking two separate single channel amps = two different sounds.. Now how do i make them share the same loudspeaker?

You could do it separately but not link them to the speaker at the same time (with a switcher) without having a dummy load for the silent amp

You'll need a Radial HeadBone to do it. Of course spending £250 might be less sensible than replacing your amp instead!

Valve amps NEED a speaker load - otherwise you risk a fire when your output transformers are load-less.

There are 3 different models - make sure you get the right one.

you could have each amp go to a speaker and then have a switch to select what amp you want the guitar to go to. this would be cheap and easy todo provising you have at least 2 speakers. you may have slight noise issues though, im not sure.
