Default New Life In The Old Gorilla.

I'd been thinking about replacing my old Gorilla 15w practice amp with one of those small valve combos that are all "in" at the moment, because it sounds a bit shit, to be frank.
Then I had a brainwave and decided to try it hooked up to my Marshall cab, and, wow! what a difference! The clean sound is warm and clear, not spiky and brittle, and the overdrive actually sounds quite similar to a Tubescreamer, not ragged and farty.
What also surprised me was how loud it was too.
Think I'll hang on to it a bit longer...
(Still want a valve combo, though!)

It'd be a small head! 2 inch high and a foot long!
