I bought a JD Bros LP copy about 4 years ago and i've been very happy with it. I think i paid around £350 for it at the time and for that money it's been a bargain and the finish was also very good for a guitar in that price range. Been waiting for a review on some JD Bros equipment for a while on here but as of yet there's been nothing. HTH

If you can stretch your budget to just under £500.............and are willing to take a chance buying online unseen/unplayed (tho' I believe some shops may have them) a Richwood Tree of Life LP clone is well worth a look http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...ategory=101562 The pics don't even come close to doing these guitars justice.

Limited to 168 guitars, 24 in each of 7 colours. mine is absolutely faultless. The build quality is breathtaking for the price (on mine at least) tho' I'll readily accept the tree of life neck inlay may not be to everyones taste, but it'd take the most rabid of LP haters to deny they look stunning. Ok, I swapped the pups for something more aggressive (a pair of Irongear Steamhammers) but that was thro' choice, there was nothing actually wrong with the stock pups.
