I like your rating system - my ego is well and truly massaged.
Must say that after a long period of struggling to come up with something I'm happy with, this one has finally hit the spot. I can't say much about the Sisters of Mercy but I did grow up playing along to Floyd more than anything else. I certainly don't try to copy Gilmour though, it has just got to the point that my stuff and his sound a bit similar.
I think that, when all is said and done, Pink Floyd are a little bit more successful than "Grumbleweed" (I would do a winking smiley icon at this point but I don't know how).

Glad you liked it, I just chuck stuff on Soundclick and see what sticks - some work okay and some just leave a sticky mess.

Grum

Red face What happened to the last 20 years?

My kid sister (I say kid but she's 41!) always says things like that when she listens to my stuff.
I didn't think she knew what she was talking about, obviously she does.

I can see I'm going to have to inject some 21st Century into my veins.

Cheers.

Sorry me old buddy from both Soundclick and MySpace, I missed this comment until just now.
Loudness: I agree when the delay feedback kicks in it is a bit.....loud, but as a guitar player I need to hear what I have done! On a more serious note I'm about to look at some monitor speakers as I mainly use headphones/pc speakers/Sony surround system/car stereo/mp3 player to mix my tracks.
Watch this space....or MySpace.....or somewhere else - who knows?
